Production of ExVir FFP2 masks in TV38 Kompakt

At the beginning of April 2021, the TV38 Kompakt team came to visit Gauss PSA GmbH in Wolfenbüttel. Here, in the summer of 2020, the company was founded by 2 business partners from the region. The goal was to compensate for the high demand at the time for FFP2 masks that provided reliable protection. Meanwhile, the company consists of about 30 employees. Production has been optimized to such an extent that up to 3 million masks can be produced each month. In addition to full protection, the masks from Wolfenbüttel also offer optimum wearing comfort. The most significant for filtration fleece is obtained exclusively from German production. The quality of each individual mask is tested directly on site as well as randomly by a laboratory in Germany.

To contribute to the fight against the pandemic, Gauss PSA GmbH donated thousands of ExVir masks to aid projects such as Tafel and Lebenshilfe. The last donation even went to a school in Tanzania.

Sustainability is a major topic here in the present and the future. The packaging is reduced to the bare minimum, the paper insert is produced in a climate-neutral way, and work is currently underway on an FFP2 mask for the future, which will be made of biodegradable materials while providing the same level of protection. For this purpose, the company works together with a renowned scientific institute. So we will continue to hear a lot from this innovative company.
